As one season closes.....
The next one is coming up already! Juno were at Silverstone testing this week. With the drivers seat hotting up for 2012, just as the winter freeze kicks in!
Following a successful season with the CN2011 Sports Prototype chassis, the factory prepared machine rolled out at a very cold and windy Silverstone, for its final run of the year, supported as it has been all year by TFL Racing.
With drives available for the 2012 season in both SPEED Euroseries and VdeV, the Juno will surely be the car to be in next season for a shot at the title and race wins, with further developments planned to update and upgrade the car underway. Looking at such a drive and evaluating their propsects for the forthcoming year, a number of drivers sampled the car that has been on the front row and the podium so many times this year.
The first was up and coming Formula Renault race winner James Thorp. At just 19 James is already delivering on his promise and natural ability. This was his first taste of Sports Prototype machinery and he spent half the day in the car, becoming more familiar with the car and setting some excellent times despite the cold conditions, slippery track surface and being his first time in the car.
The second driver was Jamie Stanley, the 2010 British GT4 champion, FF1600 and Lotus driver. Once again he adapted well and enjoyed the car and also performed very well, once more setting some excellent lap times.
Next up was another up and coming quick prospect Adam Foster, the Formula Palmer Audi 2008 Rookie of the year, who has also sampled Formula Two race cars. Completing his sesssion, Adam showed much speed and maturity registering more very fast lap times.
Also to grace the cockpit was former Juno driver, and experienced Sports Prototype racer Ryan Hooker, and also VdeV race winner Grag Caton who both reported good balance and speed with the Juno car as they evaluate their options for the future, just as the day closed in and the rain began to fall.

Juno and TFL were encouraged and very impressed by everybody's performance and enthusiasm, especially on such a cold day! Following the successful test negotiations are ongoing and developing towards confirming drivers for next years exciting assault on the championship.
