Aerodynamics
Again, the result of major computer based and track based testing, the car benefits from a highly efficient aero package. The obvious features such as the rear aerofoil, are complimented by a complex undertray that helps to return impressive figures for lift/drag ratio. A tiny frontal area ensures that the car is able to scythe through the air causing minimal disturbance and drag.
Track testing has shown that at 140mph, the car generates enough downforce to be driven on the ceiling with a typical race setup, including driver and fuel.
